The finishes of the faucets indicate the personal preferences. Faucets chosen have to match sinks, countertops and other kitchen appliances. The two most traditional and popular finishes are polished chrome and polished brass. In recently, more and more other finishes become popular too, such as stainless steel and stain or brushed nickel. Their muted looks are different from polished chrome and the previous ones tend to match stainless steel appliances very well. Although so many different finishes could be chosen, chrome is still the most durable and affordable than any others. While alternative coatings are much more expensive since they are still not as popular as chrome.
